Herschel Backpack
Herschel Supply Co. combines the designs and inspirations taken from vintage mountaineering, American heritage, fashion and world travel to produce backpacks of great shape to meet the needs of the backpacking community today. This Canadian family business has been around about 100 years and now excels in making backpacks that feature simplicity and durability, as well as a signature look.

Pop Quiz Backpack is one of Herschels most popular models, made of a canvas exterior with nylon lining and the eco-friendly reinforced bottom. A zip-top closure, comes with adjustable shoulder straps, and features two exterior pockets, as well as an internal media pocket, front pocket organizer and sunglass pocket that is also fleeced lined. The interior fleece-lined slot is perfect for a laptop. Available in colors of black, cocoa, olive, navy and red. Size measurements of 17" high, 13" wide and 5.5" deep.
Little America is a classic Herschel backpack, with the traditional rucksask flap that is inspired from classic mountaineering. It is an updated model with better fit and suited for any occassion. It is fully lined and features an internal media pocket, padded contoured shoulder straps to help keep the load in place and for support, a breathable padded back. There's also a buckle strap and drawstring for closing with an inner key ring. It comes in black. Size of 10"width, 20" height, and 5" depth.
Settlement backpack is of a simple design, with exposed gold metal zippers with leather zipper pulls. This model too is fully lined and has the internal media pocket and front pocket features inner key clip. Available in colors of black, cocoa, olive, navy, and red as well as two toned models. This pack size is 17" height, 13" width, 5.5"depth.
Classic backpack has a slightly slimmer shape to conform to one's bodyshape. This too is fully lined, comes with a single front pocket, internal media pocket and key clip. The size is 13" width, 17" height, 5.5" depth. Color red.
Heritage backpack is available in 2 models and represents Herschel's new twist on those vintage favorites. It is quite similar to the Classic model but with detailed accents and synthetic leather bottom. This particular model is 100% polyester and of the same measurements as the classic. It has the single front pocket with key clip and an internal media pocket. Colors available are black, grey and navy. The other model is made with canvas exterior with nylon lining, zip top closure, adjustable shoulder straps, front zip pocket, colors-grey or navy, with the newest color camo. It shares the same measurements.
Zippo is the newest of the Herschel packs and one of the more expensive models. It has reinforced top and bottom and is of a longer, narrower style with the old mountain feel but all of the features required to meet today's needs.
Herschel has recently partnered with La's Stussy & Co. for making two custom backpacks which will be characterized by a safety orange ripstop bottom and the double labeling of both manufacturers. It is a combination of the clean and simple Settlement bag and the Village bag with it's laptop feature. These backpacks are a limited production.
